The Red Elvises were pretty amazing. Think how musically russia is about 20 years behind us. Then factor in how old these guys are. They were basically playing stuff that sounded like 50s up to late 60s maybe. Lot of surf guitar, lot of 3 chord songs and a lot of fun. They all wore different highly distasteful outfits. Cheetah print, leopard print, dalmation, and zebra stripe suits. It was a good time.

Day 2 I went to berkely and moped around. Went to amoeba, etc. Then hit up the golden gate. I don't consider myself a big fan of architecture or anything but I love the golden gate. I will go look at it every time I go. I kind of want to move up to the bay area some day.

Day 2, Night was a huge house party my friend was throwing. In my defense, I didn't check my Phasenjournal until I got back, but I am really sorry I didn't call and invite you guys. There was homemade sangria, about 50 different kinds of liquors, and after I got close to the most intoxicated I have ever been, someone convinced me that it would be a good idea to put some 110 proof liquor in my mouth and blow fire. It worked! I will post the photographic evidence tomorrow.
